A Public Announcement

‼️ Attention ‼️

This is your warning.

Your bulletin board memo.

Your taped-up flyer in a breakroom that smells like burnt coffee and bullshit.

***

Effective immediately,

I am no longer eating shit with a smile on my face.

***

Not for peace.

Not for optics.

Not for your comfort, your approval,

or your fragile delusions of control.

***

The practice of swallowing disrespect

and calling it “being the bigger person”

has been officially discontinued.

The grin is gone.

The plate is overturned.

***

For years, I complied.

I chewed carefully.

I thanked you for the serving.

I told myself it was character-building,

that grit tastes bad by design.

That policy was a lie.

***

Let it be known:

I am done nodding while being talked over.

Done laughing when the joke is me.

Done digesting blame that belongs to systems and inept minds that speak in circles.

***

Any attempt to repackage shit as “just how it is”

will be returned to sender.

📦

Please update your expectations accordingly.

***

I will now be responding in real time.

I will be leaving rooms mid-sentence.

I will be saying “no” without a paragraph attached.

I will not cushion truth to protect egos

that have never once protected me.

***

If this makes you uncomfortable—

good.

That means the notice reached its intended audience.

***

Questions, complaints, or accusations of “changed behavior”

may be filed directly into the void.

I will not be monitoring that inbox.

📥

This announcement is not an overreaction.

It is an overdue refusal.

It is what happens when survival stops pretending to be gratitude.

***

Read it twice.

Post it where you need to.

Memorize it if you’re used to crossing lines.

***

No further statements will be issued.

I love this line:"It is what happens when survival stops pretending to be gratitude." Such powerful words. Should be the anthem of the people who are just done. Great work!
