Love has many hardships
But when I’m with you
I can endure the it all
All the earth’s complexities
I can push on knowing
That I have found it
What I was looking for, divine love
I cannot explain it, the feel
As if my heart turns to steel
Melting inside like a furnace
You keep me warm inside
I want to go through life
I want to strive through strife
Help me live life in wonders
Loving each day as a moment
Pursue a life beyond pleasure
Seek that which cannot be found
Aiming higher than the stars
Let us enjoy the love in life
While we have the time here
For it is short and unnerving
Nothing is for certain
But one thing is true
Not only do I love God
But I love you
