Excuse Me, While I Grieve
In my own time and my own way

Excuse me while I grieve.
For all the time lost,
Negative pregnancy tests,
Missed opportunities,
Things that I could've had!
People who miss me,
Countries I've never visited,
And all of the memories, both good and bad.
Now, please, excuse me, while I grieve.
In my time, not yours!

Power Up. Let it go. Hugs to you. WELL DONE
The brevity of each line amplifies the emotional weight. Even small phrases carry significant meaning, making the poem feel powerful despite its length.
Love this!! Grieving is so important! Laughter and tears, artwork, talking, and of course writing... all healing! I have been going through that much of your list too! 💙❤️💙
