Above the nascent breeze

Ne'er toils
Symbols—freedom, peace, and hope
O'erhead our feathered horoscope
Inferentially

Surveying from above
Dinosaurs disposed of
Ocular acuity is
Predator reality
Intentionally

Songs forever sung
Nests built for ever-young
Our ground, underfoot, full stops us
Their world, all else, atops us
Two-dimensionally

Flight — a forever, forbidden fancy
Of those who dream of necromancy
The beauty of the gift
Is really in the lift
Quintessentially
