The Unicorn Rests in a Garden from The Unicorn Tapestries

Sh!

You'll wake it!!

Missed what you already have

Because you were too busy trying.

Sewing a stone to a heart’s beat.

Is the same as looking for a unicorn in the real world.

it's already there, it always has been; it always will be as long as you don’t disturb it.

And when you don't find it, is when you find what you do find.

Come back.

With everything.

Come back,

Whole.

The only way to come back with what I want

is to not know what I’m looking for. To go not-looking.

Let that Unicorn be.

And in the wildness you will be the unicorn in stillness.

You'll find you're the one who is vulnerable and being hunted!

Look for nothing, look for nothing.

Is when I'll have wholeness.

Carefully.

But when will wholeness have me?

That thing I didn't know I was looking for. That thing I wasn't looking for.

To find the Wanting's End. You can't find it anywhere, its not a place, it's not a person. And its not a thing! It leaves as readily as it is available. Sometimes you just have to get lost in a forest to find it. That you're already enough on your own. Because its nothing to obtain. It's nothing to lose. It's nothing you can't have. sometimes we just don't, and that's okay too.

Let find,

Let have.

Let it be found,

Let it be had.

Leave it alone again.

Leave it alone again.

Be with it.

Be on its own.

What you will find is the presence of your own company. With the Unicorn you weren't looking for (eyes back and forth, Sh, careful now, easy does it).

Be it whole as it is quiet

Be it loud as a screaming child.

Be it whole as it is nothing

Be it whole as it is.

Be it whole.

Be it.

Be it.

I’ll let you be, Unicorn. Thanks for being with me.

Thank you for having me here. Thank you for inviting me to your forest.

Goodbye now.

Chase me through a river, I dare you.

Where is the Unicorn now?

It's in your heart, in your hand, on your sleeve, in your mind.

In the forest resting. Happy to see you again.

Gratitude
