God's Promise

As I formed you in your mother's womb, I gave you this promise to withstand the journey of life I had set before you; I am with you.

In your lowest moments, when it feels as if despair will swallow you whole, I am with you.

When your world is crumbling around you, and love has abandoned you, know no sorrow can overtake you, for I am with you.

In your darkest moments, when your soul is left searching for the light, not a twinkle of hope in sight, I am with you.

When you are questioning your existence and place of belonging and left wondering, remember, I am with you.

In your weariest moments, when tears stain your soul for hours and days on end, know that I am with you.

When you are despondent, bewildered, and melancholic, do not lose hope. For I am with you, and I will strengthen you, uphold you when you are weak.

And in the moments you are fatigued, worn from the journey, and trembling out of fear of what may lie ahead, thinking, it be better to stop here than risk further pricking; remember, you do not walk alone, for there is no storm I will not weather with you, no hardship I will not bear with you, and no pain I will not endure with you.

Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
