Dear Soon-to-be- Newborn Marie,
I hope you are well and happy. I am writing to you from a park bench, where I have been sitting for the past hour. I have been enjoying the beauty and the peace of the present moment.
The present moment is a precious gift that gets overlooked or ignored. We’re usually too busy with the past or the future, with regrets or worries, and with plans or expectations. We miss the opportunity to experience the richness and the wonder of the now.
The present moment is the only reality that you have. It is the only time that you can live, act, and create. It is the only time that you can connect with yourself, with others, and with God. It is the only time that you can be truly free and happy.
It’s always new and fresh, never boring or dull, and it is always changing and evolving, never stagnant or fixed. It’s inviting and challenging, never demanding or imposing.
The present moment is a treasure, teacher, and friend that you can discover, enjoy, learn, grow, share, and celebrate life.
I invite you to the adventure and pleasure of living in the present moment. You won't regret it. You’ll discover a new dimension of your life, and find a new joyous way of being human.
Your Memere,
Leah

Writing is a part of who I am.
I go back and forth between handwritten lengthy journaling and sitting here glued to my laptop.
As inspiration hits, I write and follow the intuitive nudge.
You'll see many sides of me here.
