A nonet for my first marriage

They said we were too young to commit
Before long we both proved them right
But one of us was stubborn
"For the kids' sake," I said
And so it went on
Fourteen long years
Love suffered
Withered
Died

Gosh, I would have probably taken the kids and run away...but I am bad. Wow, I hope all is well now and you all are friends, for the sake of the children. The roads of life, navigating is hard.
