Goodbye

Just a polite way of saying, "Probably the last time we'll talk."

Goodbye is a word we say at the end of a conversation for a reason,

Goodbye is the end.

Goodbye means this is the final conversation, the final time you will see this person.

Goodbyes are associated with someone leaving your life,

This is accompanied with pain and distress.

There is no guarantee in tomorrow's hello's,

By saying Goodbye you are accepting that you won't see them tomorrow.

A lot of people prefer to use; see you later, catch you later, or even bye for now.

Signifying the end for right now and not forever.

No one likes to close chapters in their life but sometimes you don't have a choice.
