I find heaven in you –

in the coffee poured by callused,

hot hands, the sips staining lips

in pleasure and our morning plans.

Heaven in the space shouldered by joke

and laugh, a walk in the park

scraping our bare feet on sun-caked

concrete paths.

I find heaven in you.

Aw, so sweet. Would that we all could find some of this bliss.
