Heavy and Weightless

Almost dead

It creeps in from

Somewhere

Probably hell

It emerges in heart

I feel it in my gut

I hate you but

I am malevolent

I am deeply struck

And stuck

Oh love

Jealousy triumphs

While I struggle under the rubble

Of being a peculiar lover

Till summer

I wait for the weight to be lifted

Into air

Out of thin air

Comes the wave of sadness

Drowning me deep into trenches

Making me feel

Almost dead

Heavy and weightless

Poignant, tragic, and eloquently phrased at each turn - this is inspired work! Thank you so much for sharing this deeply feeling entry, and joining in the challenge!

  • Highly emotive! Really like: “ Out of thin air Comes the wave of sadness Drowning me deep into trenches Making me feel Almost dead Heavy and weightless”✅
