Helping Hands I Call Upon Thee

Helping others is mandatory to our existence

Helping hands - Where are you?

My pain cuts deep and fragments my sleep

I need someone to listen to my desperate plea

Can anyone willingly come and help me?

Anyone that chooses to listen and fundamentally care

Make me understand my suffering and despair

My internal raging battles in my incessant lair

My external validations and reasons to compare

Give me the answers to heal or comprehend

Calm my aching soul and tears that never end

For I know within that I am so much more

Help me get to that place of balance

Help me rise up from the beaten down floor

Transform me into a stronger, wiser, peaceful version

Give me the hope to see the beauty and light

When all I see is darkness and unceasing plight

Help me step back from the edge of oblivion

Help me find my salvation and lose the will to fight

Show me my existence matters

Can anyone help me?

I beg of thee…please come to me
