How does one quiet the space within to find the foundational fortitude of love?

And to find the ever present but often ignored, compressed, and under-expressed joy?

How does the observer remove the masks that they have melded into as identification?

We know it’s a lie.

The breath of life cannot cascade across the features of your face with those barriers present.

The gentle caress of self love can only trace lines over the illusion of your self.

Each mask an unknown separation of the original spark of creation coming into unison with the eternal glory of the present moment.

We are so much more.

More than the past that has wounded us.

More than the future we fear.

More than what they think,

And who they think we are.

We are undefinable.

The darkness weaves tendrils into your subconscious to take hold and control.

A corrupted pirate commandeering your vessel for the thrills of sailing without a course.

Always with the idea of gold in mind, but always lost at sea.

The temptation and dream of riches and glory.

The illusion that prevents us from docking on shore and creating something truly beautiful.

We are the sea.

We are the sky.

We are the boat, and the captain, and the crew.

Most of all,

We are the lighthouse. Strong and true.

We have forgotten our light protects and guides.

Cutting through the darkness.

The source of the infinite existence that was, is, and shall be.

Guiding us all home, and taking our masks off at the door.
