Proverbs 27:9 NIV

“Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of a friend springs from their heartfelt advice.”

I believe

The Lord places

People in our lives

For a reason

And we are

Blessed

To call these

Special souls,

Friends,

His hands on Earth

The ones he sends

To celebrate the

Times of Joy

And to walk

With us

Through the

Storms!

~

I believe

We aren’t

Meant to be

Alone, when

He surrounds us

With his love,

And the company

Of those

He sends

Our way!

I believe

The greatest

Example

We have

For how

To be a

Good friend

Is Jesus!

~

I believe

In our times

Of need

He sends

People our way

To Lessen the pain

Ease the grief!

You are right Michelle, no one has a better friend than Jesus. He loves us unconditionally.\ Well Done - beautiful poem, Michelle.

Michelle, that reminds me of the song, "What a friend we have in Jesus". I too believe that HE sets the example of how to be a friend. Wonderful poem, Michelle, and one we could all learn from. Nicely done!!
