How To Not Feel Alone.

Instructions for Letting Love In.

By TestPublished about a month ago 1 min read

To feel at ease, practise being alone.

Keep rooms spare and mornings free of noise.

Let trust arrive softly, awkward and grown.

Live lightly, answer mostly with a tone

That listens more than speaks. Make space in the room.

To feel at ease, practise being alone.

Should someone come, be clean, be calm, be known

By scent and smile. Say little. Let him bloom.

Let trust arrive softly, awkward and grown.

Attend to how he feels. Let that be shown.

Resist the urge to crowd the listening room.

To feel at ease, practise being alone.

If questions prod, allow them, gently sown.

If kindness holds, relax your inner gloom.

Let trust arrive softly, awkward and grown.

Stand as you are, no more, no less than shown.

Two quiet souls can share a careful room.

To feel at ease, practise being alone.

Let trust arrive softly, awkward and grown.
