I know who killed me
Do you?

Look at me. Look me in the eye.
I know who killed me, I know why
My life was taken before I had lived.
Before I had a chance to show what I could give.
"Whore" you might call me and why would you care
How my life was ended? Were you there?
Were you nearby when the deed was done,
When the murderer came stalking? Did you see them run?
I know who did it, but of course cannot say.
That's why I need help. Please... don't turn away.
Look at me now. Feel the pain I endured,
As the life drained from me, as the me expired.
My death is unpunished, My killer still free.
My baby son orphaned, for his whole life will be.
Now I sit here, trapped for ever
In this window I live in, never
To be released, my freedom ceased
The moment that blade pierced.
Release me now, don't walk away
Bring me some peace, help me,
I pray.

Hungarian national Bernadette Szabo moved to Amsterdam as a sex worker at the age of 18 and became pregnant soon afterwards. She continued to work throughout her pregnancy, returning to the job shortly after her son was born. She was stabbed to death at the age of 19, three months after giving birth to a son. He was later placed in foster care, never having known his mother. Amsterdam police hope that the holographic image of the young woman asking for help will encourage witnesses to come forward.

So sad, but you have given her life a dignity.
Very well documented. You communicated. Bernadette Szabo’s story very well. You included the facts and you did it within an artistic flare. Excellent work.
These cases are so sad for many reasons both social and legal for the cases are usually not solved unless a miracle happens. Good work in sharing.
I've never heard of this case. It's so heartbreaking. I hope she gets justice
