I miss you my country

I heard your name

By Kisama Riyo Published about a year ago 1 min read

My longing for you overflows with tears

And my nostalgia is a knot that tightens and expands

And your love whenever the nights come upon you

Occupies my heart between the ribs

That I intended to go to hell unintentionally

So the pulse ignited, so see what you do?

And I see you as the best of creation, even if it appears

And after you, my heart is torn apart by alienation?

Pain accustoms me whenever I hear your name

And sadness prevails over me and tightens between my ribs

So let me in my ecstasy complete my song

Whenever I start my poetry, I return to you?

I am charged with loving you, my homeland, until I fell in love with it

As if I became the prince, the learned, the creative

The genius of the revolution when the colonizer calls him

And insomnia betrays him and the worry becomes tragic?

So my longing for you, Palestine, made me follow

Who is the monster who assassinated my land and became a factory?

The scum of my land called you with your pure heart

So, my brother, will you return to me now?

My longing for you, my homeland, made me shed tears from my confusion.

And my love's breaths stopped on their own?
