Improvement
An acrostic poem I hope will inspire/encourage others, especially myself
I wish I were a smarter, healthier, better version of myself.
Maybe I could be all that and more with the right motivation.
Possibilities have potential, even if there's doubt.
Remove any negative aspect or anything that does not benefit you.
Obstacles will only delay the journey, not end it.
Valiance is one of the key ingredients to better yourself.
Everyone has a story of their voyage to advancement.
Most people start from humble beginnings and work their way up.
Eventually, you will progress on your terms and be satisfied.
Never let the opinions of others overshadow what you think is right for you.
Take it one step at a time until you reach your destiny.
Author's Note: This is my first piece as a Vocal writer. I believe that improvement in any aspect of life is possible. As a young woman, I'm always trying to better myself for myself. I hope this piece will encourage others to do the same.
