Incredibly, I am calmed.

My soul has settled after I stomped and screamed.

The mountains shook, but now water runs clear and calm. Finally, finally, happy.

I drink.

I hesitate but I drink, just enough so that the bliss is solidified into my blood;

Proof enough that we can shake mountains without breaking the world in half.

I am giant enough,

But the delicacy of my fingers dripping down raindrops

From the water I savour and explore

Is human.

I study the foaming seas in the water I cup,

The steady tide against my wrist,

And look deeper to find sea-fish and glowing creatures,

All ingested now.

Maybe these are the things the stomping costs.

Good or bad, there's no middle ground, only rain from my spilled waterfalls

And a slight salty taste in the stream

Because I cried at the little change I had made.

I would've thought that the great, hearty stomp

And thunderous clap from the quiet giant

Would have changed something

More than make a small glacier admit its fate of melting.

I wanted more, but more will come.

The galaxies I gave away,

The seeds carried in every messy confession,

It all absorbed the pain

As I stomped

But still didn't break the world in half.
