Insidious Scales
Sensational II Challenge
By Cindy CalderPublished about a year ago • Updated about a year ago • 1 min read

I’ve witnessed horror, seen in the embodiment of one man gone afoul
Given ear to details of unfathomable deeds framed in sadistic scowls
Tasted the acrimonious evil in but an insidious moment most foul
Whilst overwhelming grief superseded all in a mist of tears' shroud
Intertwined with the unsavory smell found in the depths of hell's bowels.

Cindy this was a clever entry to the challenge!! I like both the metaphorical and genuine implications here!
So ominous and heavy! Great work, Cindy!
This is sensory-rich! Great writing description here. Well done!

That was so dark and profound! Loved your poem!
Wow! That is one powerful poem, Cindy!
Hmm. I feel this is a conversation opener. Though in reality if you sat down next to me on the train and said this I might be a little uncertain about that conversation...
A great take on the challenge, best of luck ☺
Nice work
This is very good, and reminds me of someone truly evil. Very well done.
A true sense of evil. Well done, CIndy.
Yikes! That's a clear warning to steer clear. Visceral!
To me this reads like a summation to a court trial for either the defense of prosecutor.
