Kalopsia

(n.) the delusion of things being more beautiful than they are.

All the girls want her blonde hair and baby blues. Every time she bats her eyes, and the sweet sounds she makes every time she's playing coy. No one ever asks about her angst. Or her bitten nails every time she gets nervous. Or how she tries to find love in every stranger or friend who hates her. But that's okay, because the show has to go on. She is the lead; she can cry later. After all, she's still pretty and has her ambition. All the girls want to be her, didn't you know? Who else will immortalize her sadness? It's true they do want to be her, even Norma.
