Sighs of relief from holding your breath can remind you why she kept you quiet
There's a time to keep it down low, once it surfaces there's no going back
She left you in the dark I remind you, not far from harm but close at hand
You'll never realize it, you're working your best times into this person only to find
A deep secret of darkness fill the air, don't breath in this you told yourself
A bright light will remind you who you truly are and why you try so hard to keep things clean in your heart
Are you a pure soul you ask, she shakes her head in a slow way I see dark things above my views
She isn't anything you thought she was, all you know now is she wants you to keep holding your breaths
Thank you for your support and kind words lately <3

I’ve had so many names in this life I lose track of which ones were ever really mine and which ones I wore because someone needed me to. Some were handed to me before I had words to refuse them, before I knew what they meant, before I knew I could say no. Most weren’t meant to hurt. That doesn’t mean they didn’t leave marks. Marks that told me who I belong to, who I am by way of who claims me, recognizes me in the good and bad, who walks beside me.
