Introduction

I was listening to Bob Dylan at Budokan, and "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" came on, and I thought, that is the way we all eventually disappear, although hopefully we will be remembered, and I also thought that would be a good concept for the Vocal challenge.

This will just be a series of quatrains rather than a formal structure, but as it mentions many who have left us, I suppose it is an Elegy.

Knockin' On Heaven's Door (The Playlist)

Bob Dylan - "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" (From the MGM film, "Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid")

Led Zeppelin - "Stairway To Heaven" from "IV" or "Untitled" or "Four Symbols"

AC/DC - "Highway to Hell" from the eponymous album

Warren Zevon - "Keep Me in Your Heart" from "The Wind"

A beautiful song written fro his wife when he knew the end was near. I tried to cover it on my YouTube channel.

David Bowie - "Lazarus" from "Blackstar"
