Art is a huge blessing
that I recognized early on
and have been nurturing
ever since I can remember.
With diverse tools and media,
I am exploring my potentials,
letting my imagination loose.
Here is one:
A sprawling lavender field,
a sea of fragrant purples.
Beyond it, cheerful
golden canola fields.
it is bordered by trees.
I would surely want, to be lost here,
so much soothing sensory stimuli,
a perfect escape, for a solitude seeker.
and a nature lover.
This art hangs on the wall
above my study table.
When tired, I look into it
and imagine waltzing
among lavender and canola,
like Alice in Wonderland,
a delightful, refreshing break.
