Most ferocious Lone Wolf, searching for his long-lost pack.

Everything he has ever been taught, in his mind and intact.

Alone and vulnerable, hungry in fact!

Realizing there isn't a counter part needed to watch his back.

He scrapes by day to day, determined to stay alive!

The Journey is long and begins to break his stride.

His position is changing, along with his pride.

Howling at the sky, hoping they hear his cries.

The Alpha, Beta, Delta, and warriors protect the line

While the Omega keeps the cubs safe inside.

The healers heal and the hunters provide.

When it’s cold outside in the pack, we rely.

Together we flourish, alone we might struggle.

What we can maintain alone, together we double.

There is strength in numbers, this is a known fact.

So, we do what we must to protect the pack.

A lone wolf is impulsive, no rules to hold him back,

but does not have a team to look over and cover his tracks.

It’s a cold world when one is alone,

without a body beside you keeping you warm.

He searches and searches until he arrives,

hungry and tired, barely alive.

He asked for forgiveness, they let him inside.

The tales of his journey, all truth and no lies,

broken and torn.

He must choose to kneel and conform.

A pack is a team that works side by side,

and all that he needs, the pack will provide.

The elders look up with pride in their eyes.

What have you learned?

He waits to reply.

He takes a deep breath then slowly recites.

The Lone Wolf dies, but the pack survives.
