Lost To Violence

Life can be so short

A murderous death is always a tragedy

An individual life is never too small

To see one snuffed out

A sad time to unfold

Violence is never the answer

When you simply disagree

Have we lost our humanity?

The grave moment of devalued life

To see the praise of indecency

Ran in the world of spiritual poverty

There is no understanding or debate

Just overwhelming grief of evil fate

Agony of lost security seen

Across the world to be

Those doing nothing wrong

Have their lives snuffed out so early on

The world has fallen off the edge

To a place where no one is safe

Yet justice will rise in the end

God help us in the world to heal

From the devastation of the evil will
