“Think of all the beauty
still left around you
and be happy.”
We live on a unique and very beautiful planet
which is teeming with life.
No other planet
has the variety of colours and ‘beauty’
like the Earth has.
Every day we wake up
to a sunrise and the dawn chorus.
Every night
we see the moon and stars light up the sky,
and see the night animals with their shining eyes.
After every storm
there is a rainbow with its seven colours.
In a fish tank,
it seems every fish is a different colour.
What about you and me?
Every person on this Earth is unique
in his or her colouring, whether hair, skin or eyes.
And when you see your baby smile
— how beautiful!
Make that choice to see the beauty in life.
