I’m standing on the edge of a world I barely know

I’m wondering when he’ll take my hand

I’m asking for the mysteries to save me from my soul

Lost between the middle and the end

I’m holding on to a rope that has no end

Wanting to let inside again

Is there anywhere I can turn and feel understood

Is there anywhere I can begin

Cause I am lost and indecisive

I’m standing knee-deep in a river that keeps on flowing

And I know when I need it most

The world will never be enough for me

Sometimes I can barely breathe

Looking to the stars

I wonder where we are

Not quite the end or even the beginning

But I know

There’s so much more for me to do

And I’m walking alongside you

So take my hand

I won’t be lonely again
