Memory
What makes us who we are

Memory is an echo of the past
It’s sound, scent, touch, and fleeting whispers
Our experience and knowledge
What makes us who we are
Our understanding
Shattered pieces of the mind
Images that stretch before us
Glued together by threads, straining to keep them in place
And still, they fade before our very eyes
