Men Will be Men

Men will be men, so they say

Their antics and habits never sway

They drink, they burp, they watch the game

While their wives roll their eyes in shame

They'll leave the toilet seat up high

And forget birthdays, oh my my!

They'll eat junk food and leave the crumbs

But still expect their six-pack abs to come

They'll tell a joke, oh so funny

But forget to clean up their laundry

They'll snore all night, and hog the bed

While their partner sleeps with a pillow on their head

But despite all of their quirks

Men have their own unique perks

They'll protect their loved ones, through thick and thin

And make us laugh with their silly grin

So let's give them some credit, where it's due

For all the things they do and pursue

And when they say, "men will be men"

Just smile and nod, and say, "amen!"

In conclusion, men are a curious lot

Full of surprises, and sometimes not

But let's appreciate them, faults and all

For they make life interesting, big and small.
