An angel foraging from flower to flower

Like a bird in the air
He flies and struts a little
He laughs at people on earth
Without ever knowing them better
*
Hidden mockery, a word, an image
The lack of courage hidden behind a wise man
He'll forgive all your sins, even the saucy ones
At least that's what you think to live happily
*
But when the bottom of the soul is bad
Whether it's God, karma, or the universe
He's sure to bring back
This mocking angel on earth
*
And if one day the soul has its regret
Let's not take it for granted
The phoenix in the heart is reborn
And the mocking angel flies away forever.
