MYTHIC SHADOW BLUES
America's Long, Low Moan 2026
The Intro:
Sometimes the "blue-tinted days" feel heavier than they should. This piece was born from the static and the "long, low moan" of the world outside my window a response to the crooks, the liars, and the systems that try to break our rhythm.
Using a blend of gritty Delta blues and cinematic shadows, Mythic Shadow Blues is a reminder to stand steady. When the streets hum with sorrow, the ancestors are still humming in the rafters. We move forward slowly, sovereign, and together.

MYTHIC SHADOW BLUES
Where do we go from here…
when the streets hum with sorrow
and the houses hold their breath.
America feels like a long, low moan
rolling through the floorboards.
Turmoil in the streets,
turmoil in the halls,
echoes in the corners
where nobody calls.

Blue tinted days of bruised hearts,
blue tinted nights of trying to stand tall.
We walk through shadows
carved by crooks and liars,
stories buried deep
like embers under fires.
Truth twisted, wounds hidden,
voices swallowed by the dark.

Day by day,
night by night,
we carry fear like a second skin.
But listen, close
there is a heartbeat rising,
a rhythm saying:
Stop the madness.
Stop the harm.
Stop the systems that break us.
The ancestors hum in the rafters,
the old drums shake the dust,
and the wind whispers,
“Stand steady, child.
The truth is still yours.”
Where do we go from here?
Forward.
Slow.
Sovereign.
Together.
With the blues as our witness
and the truth as our guide.
