Never More
Babs' Unofficial Challenge, Ask Me In December (Poem)
Ask me in December to
Sing songs from my guitar and
Kiss you like I mean it
//
Merge my taste with yours
Every secret safe
//
Indulge in knowing that
Neither of us has ever
//
Done anything like this before ...
Escalate my pulse
Crave me
Envelope me
Make me yours
Burn my ego to dirt -- I will wax poetic, mere
Embers at your feet, and then
Release me, never more

This is amazing. I would never have thought of turning the phrase into an acrostic with verses. I love it!
Acrostically sublime. Upbeat and positive, the way it should be.
So passionate...love it
This is so cute! I love how you made the statement into an acrostic. I hope you do well in the challenge!
Wow! That is brilliant!
"Burn my ego to dirt -- I will wax poetic, mere". This was my favourite line! Loved your Acrostic!
This poem is fabulous, Christy. Romantic, tender, and hopeful to its bitter ending. I'm a sucker for a romantic poem.
Christy, this is so clever and romantic, even with the sad ending, it makes your reader think about relationships.
I did silently sing your acrostic poem!!! Love it!!!❤️❤️💕
This is beautiful. I could almost hear you singing it to someone.
