Ode to the Question

Questions….

By shallon gregersonPublished 12 minutes ago 1 min read

O sacred Question,

Unanswered and alive,

You hum beneath belief and disbelief alike.

You refuse the leash of certainty,

Slip past commandments and conclusions,

And still—you stay.

You are the ache that wakes the soul,

The quiet rebellion of wonder,

The reason the stars still matter

Even after doctrines fall apart.

They feared you,

Called you dangerous,

But you are not destruction—

You are birth.

You teach me that faith can breathe,

That not-knowing is not failure,

That mystery is not an enemy,

But a companion who walks beside me,

Asking nothing

Except honesty.
