On the fields of Waterloo,

Where many soldiers bled,

A battle raged so fiercely,

That many wished they were dead.

The French and British clashed,

In a fight that would go down in history,

And both sides were determined,

To claim the ultimate victory.

The sound of musket fire echoed,

Through the blood-soaked earth,

As soldiers fought with all their might,

For what they believed was worth.

The cannons roared and bayonets flashed,

As the battle raged on and on,

And the fate of Europe hung in the balance,

Until the setting of the sun.

The British held their ground,

And Napoleon's fate was sealed,

As the French retreated in defeat,

And the battlefield was revealed.

Now the names of Waterloo and Wellington,

Are forever etched in time,

For their courage and bravery,

In that epic battle sublime.
