That one minute
All quiet
Relaxation and sleep
Time to myself before I wake
That sweet, sweet minute
Makes all the difference
Just a little more sleep
Helps me through my thoughts
I can feel the sunlight flooding in
It beckons me to start the day
I hear my alarm go off
Trying to hold on to a dream
It fades away and reality steals the scene
One more minute
That sweet minute to enjoy
Finally I give in
Take a deep breath
Time to begin with the day
Until we meet again,
Thinking of you
Sweet minute of rest.
