Open Mic - a scam or a helpline

Or a mental health awareness, but worth a stress buster!!

Who is coming?

The Mother-in-law is coming,

***

The flash news in the family group,

various emojis on the move,

The update from the admin

 ...

...

....

No need to respond,

but practice to smile,

The stress in the head,

gossip forever in the front,

***

The season to welcome the anxious health,

the wave of unrest heaviness,

gliding down the chest,

Stay away from the lab tests,

with a call for help, the man of the house,

a reroute to distract from the racing heartbeat,

***

Don't fall for the mocking laugh,

but be over dramatic to sympathize with the acts,

to enact as future crafts,

***

Can't avoid the circumstances,

but can change its effect,

Keep working on the kind footsteps,

Let go of the unkind air causing distress,

***

Dust off that healing journal,

pen down a gratitude, dedicated to the eternal,

Just hope the stay is not forever,

But remember karma is, however,

...

...

...

the grandson at the tail end,

bearing the boundaries of conflicts,

***

Now it's time for the drill,

the drill to clean up the thrifts,

wake up the mommy gifts,

wipe off to overshine through the trip,

the lie to praise the deliberate checklist,

***

No need to panic,

no need to create a scenic call,

let the battlefield sleep,

remember the helpline, within reach,

***

Tears may roll,

blood pressure may fall,

juice it up with positive pills,

turn those tables by overflowing family stills,

feeding the stomach to the full,

***

Make use of those skills,

taught by the old and wise,

and apply it to the very person,

who promised to share life in pain and happiness,

through hell and heaven,

***

Don't keep looking back,

to talk about how life was,

and how unrecognizable it had turned out to be,

keep moving forward,

with the will to live,

forever to be,

loving and devoted,

***

The recognition of the desperate thought,

the wealth of peace for a loss of coin,

the disturbing wait for the forthcoming dispute,

"Happy now?"

***

So sad it is, but scan the human mind,

that prompts through a malicious smile,

how unsure is life all about?

***

In the end,

the Sunday visits,

bowing down to the lord,

washes away the sins of the mind,

with a drop of holy water.

***

This Thursday 12.30 AM

The Dungeon SHOW at the Dumping Snub club,

Fear me not,

I am just,

A marriage therapist,

A weirdest chemotherapist,

Creating a space of aura imaging,

collecting the choking silent stubs,

***

Don't ask, "What for?"

Just come and experience,

***

Be seated,

with hands tied, legs eyed wide,

No screaming,

No banging,

Only crying, talking, and laughing.

***

Don't forget,

No recording allowed,

And,

The most sensitive ones,

or turned out to be vampires, Housewives preferred,

But all are welcome.

***

Promise, will regain your smile

***

NB: Content Warning - Do not continue,

Skip it the moment a discomfort settles in, because this is not for a lighthearted person.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

But I believe it is all done and dusted. I told the man to put the NB on top, but the person turned out to be too optimistic.

Please, no throwing tantrums on the stage, FYI.

Thank you,

Your's only,

Shitzy Comodieon,

Don't want to say sorry, but sorry for the inconvenience.

The human mind,

The human nature,

Humanity under fire

About the Creator

Parvathi J

Through my pages, I find the quiet complexities of pain dwelling in a solitary space, burdening life’s endless demands, and unburdening the voiceless noise.

Witnessing the questioning, I speak the deeper silence of my voice.

Well done, this felt chaotic in a very real way. I could feel the anxiety, humor, and exhaustion layered together like real family life. It reminded me how laughter sometimes becomes the only way to breathe.

  • Families can be tough to ge with, especially in laws. Hope things are okay with you. Loved your poem!
