Our 'Princess' few short years later!
Finally, a daughter!
With our pair of sons, everyone knew
She was a dream come true!
Sweetness and light
Bound to bring us delight!
However, little did they know…
Boys, I knew…
But a girl… what would we do?
She was feisty and fun
She won our hearts, every one!

Author Note: Having grown up in the rough and tumble of life with three brothers, I wasn’t sure how a delicate girl would fare in our family. She thrived! She certainly brought us delight!

Haha - my parent tried a fourth time and got a girl at the end - me!! A tough and rough but sensitive one. Mom used to say boys are so much easier (was that because of me??😳)
This is wonderful, Angie, so filled with joy! Great entry to the challenge!
So wonderful, Angie! Such a special kind of love captured in this!
Wonderfully written. We are blessed with a son and a daughter and she had me wrapped around her little finger since birth.
