An Ode To Those Who Have Passed

May you find your peace,

Spread your newfound wings,

And fly with the angels.

Aged wrinkles fade,

Back to your prime –

Elated! You marvel!

Oh, how you missed this!

As you turn your gaze onward,

Familiar faces greet you!

Love in their eyes, smiles on their faces,

Arms wide open, reunions abound.

Do not look back,

With the knowledge that

Those on Earth are

Protected and loved.

“Do not fear, for

I will be waiting for you

When the time comes,

As will we all, with love.”

Take the extended hand,

And run free,

Once more,

In your new forever.
