Is it our strength or our intellect,
That makes us superior, we often reflect,
Is it our wealth or our power,
That gives us the edge, hour by hour?
But perhaps it's not in these things we find,
The qualities that make us truly refined,
For it's not in our physical might,
But in our hearts, where we shine bright.
It's in our ability to love and to care,
To show compassion and to be fair,
To lift each other up, when we fall,
And to stand by each other, through it all.
It's in our capacity to forgive and to heal,
To let go of grudges, and to seal,
To move forward with grace and with hope,
And to help others do the same, and to cope.
It's in our willingness to learn and to grow,
To admit our mistakes, and to show,
To be humble and to seek wisdom,
And to share it with others, with freedom.
These are the qualities that make us superior,
The virtues that make us truly conquer,
For in the end, it's not about what we gain,
But about the love we give, and the lives we sustain.
