Please pour me a potion…

One that revives my world weary soul

That slows tears, slakes thirst, soothes tensions

Impossible as it seems, I cling to the notion

Of refreshment, rejuvenation, relief

Not just a potion… a New Life!

*

Hold that thought!

*

New Life

Everything I wish for…

Where oh where can I go to escape strife?

Life overflowing in abundance

Impossibility

Fulfilled

Eternal and everlasting!

*

Better than any Potion

Superior, satisfying, secure

I want need a new life!

How can I gain one, be sure?

*

Good News!

*

“Jesus answered,

I am

the Way

and the Truth

and the Life…

I have come

that they may have life,

and have it to the full.”

(John 14:6, 10:10)

FANTASTIC! I love how you wove this from lacking hope, to defining need, to the ultimate cure. Wonderful work here!

Soooo good! I'm a sucker for a good acrostic, and this was a great one. Mixed with other stylings made for a relatable and compelling read! Great work Angie!

Nice!!! Magic always intrigues me. And loved the way you ended it with Jesus entering into the picture. Enjoyed! 🤩
