You are a Badass Deck, by Jen Sincero — It’s time to get mighty clear about what makes you happy and what makes you feel the most alive, and then create it instead of pretending you can’t have it.

The cards in this deck were created from a book You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life.

When I go to meet a friend, I often think of what can I bring them. I tell myself it is because I am decluttering and I just know I have something they would like. Then I have to remind myself that the best gift is me! I have had family and friends say that or something similar to me.

The best gift is you

spending time, when you do

laughing and having fun Boo

Beautiful is what I shout out

inside and out is what its about

I know I have little to no clout

but I tell the truth and shout

You are the best gift of all

ASK YOURSELF WHY - Why are you about to say or do something? Is it to be liked? To put someone down because you feel insecure? To get back at someone? Or is it coming from a place of strength and truth? Are you doing it because it'll be fun? Because you feel called to do it? Because it'll change someone else's life in a positive way? Pay attention to your motivations (be honest). Practice coming from a place of integrity and you will be victorious. Jen Sincero

Today, I don't relate to any of the above questions. I have in my past and I am not beyond them. They are just not something I have recognized in some time.

When doing a daily inventory which is part of a customary practice, I look at where I may have done or said something I may need to make amends for or fix. Then I do that!

In time, I stopped all of the things I did just to be liked

Nothing mattered but getting back at someone I disliked

Then, I stopped using sarcasm because I felt insecure

Each time I lied I knew that it made me weak, I was sure

Great times were had even when I felt bad, I was sold

Reach for the stars was something I was told

Integrity is important. I wasn't sold, I was cold

Truth is one of the seven grandfather teachings, so bright

You can do this, a good friend said and I knew she was right!

Love yourself.

You can do anything.
