Quintessence Love

Early morning; an epiphany-

What can one do, really, but go along with the motions

of every day life?

At all instant facing this spiked wall, this unavoidable fact;

this absurd, distant, alien world we all share.

Faith in our senses, in our languages, in our perceptions

yet how feeble, unthrustworthy these foundations,

these so called certainties?

Yet there are a few concepts that transcend doubts,

one of which is Love.

Quintessence Love, unspoken bond.

Of a mother's embrace or a lover's kiss

A friend's trust or even self-appreciation

nothing more real, if anything really is,

than Love, Quintessence Love-
