RAYS OF HOPE

Up from the hollow

By Uchenna Igboanugo Published about a year ago 2 min read

THE RAYS OF HOPE.

The deep has become his reality

As a hollow, started it off like

Severally was he warned of the hollow

"It's shallow" he would always say.

If only he knew

the shallow hollow would become a craton

Now he is wallowing in the deep hollow

If only it were in a meadow

He wouldn't be hoping for a window.

As a buffalo would crave for the meadow

So he desires to see the window opened

The window for rays

The rays of hope

So he wishes to behold.

If only he could behold the rays

The rays will elevate his hopes

The rays will make him glow

Or so were his thoughts

The rays of hope.

To they that are above

The hollow should be his abode

After all he was earlier informed.

Yea, he knew it was a hole, yet said it was shallow

So he should bear his burden alone.

To a few others

He doesn't look like he's in a hole

Else, he shouldn't be growing nor glowing

But lo! HE that sits in glory, watches from HIS abode.

The globe is HIS, and of HIS glory is all needed to sustain it.

From his abode shone he his rays.

The rays of HIS glory

Unto the whole globe is HIS glory shown

Their murmurings couldn't stop HIS morning rays from shining to whom HE wills

Even to the depth of holes permeates HIS glory.

The glory as of morning rays.

Who can comprehend HIS mercies?

Even at the hollow HE grants a pillow.

He would from there lift the mellowed.

Truly, the hollow can mellow.

To the meadow HE will set him

There he would see the willow

Yea, a reflection of HIS glory.

By the rays of His glory will I glow and grow.

From the shallow hole, get up before it deepens into a massive craton.

If however you are already in the deep, though the world mock at you, trust in HIM who sits above. Of no end is his mercies. To the ends of the globe shines his rays. Suh that brings hope.

Even to deep, his rays of hope can locate you. Just look and call unto him, his windows are always open to bestow.
