Reflections of a sunrise
Light breaks water.
The sun gently awakens...clouds smile...conspiring together in a commiseration of golden amber and purple brown tones in all their glorious majesty
Curiously, the heavenly bodies peer down at the world below, at they who still rests, unaware of the languid, joyous scrutiny from above the pleasing firmament
Reposing in its own little darkened alcove, is a quaint cottage nestled in sleep, tucked secretly away by a tranquil lake
It is dawn, and mist gently rises from the water's surface.
The first rays of sunlight filter between the trees, casting a warm glow over the snoozing home.
The air is still and silent, the only sound...the gentle ebb and flow of water breaking against the shore.
Impressionism...rendered lovely in its Monet-like landscape of exquisite hues and shades
Painted, with soft brushstrokes...capturing the ephemeral beauty of light and color
Morning stirs, a tad irritated at being so rudely awakened
Who dares interrupt her peaceful sleep, for she dreams of light, beauty and her essence sweetly slumbering
Streams of healing waters bathe the earth in cool sparkling tones
Mother Earth's eyes flutter open to behold the wonder and splendor of the newly awakening morn
Her ire forgotten...she rises to meet the delectable warmth of the sunlight
The water pauses from her sapid ruminations by the shore
With an ambrosian intensity of rare beauty and magnificence
Light breaks upon the waters, blessing the emergence of a new day
The elements poised for the pleasing nectar of a pristine unfolding.
And so the day begins...
Pleasurably delicate and Languorous...
Effervescing!
