Réunion Bar
Refreshingly pricey

I like to drink in pubs
Traditional English beer
Sometimes at home
Often alone
In a bus stop shelter
Hiding from the rain
There to remain
In solitary solace
But sometimes
Just for a change of routine
A slowing of pace
Escape the rat race
Train station commuters bustling
Hurrying from work to home
I like to slip into a quieter place
Sure
I pay a little more
To imbibe
Yet the atmosphere
Is worth
The extra
Spend

Good job for I think we all have one special place just to relax a while.
You created a very vivid picture with your poem. The tone took a quick turn to loneliness before settling into a quiet calm worth the extra penny.
Oooo, the interior sure looks pleasant. Loved your poem!
It does look appealing in its ambiance. I think they have to price higher to pay for all the lightbulbs. Here in the States, they are incredibly expensive.
Very atmospheric, Raymond, like I was there too.
