Codependents
Stalkers
Sometimes even psychopaths
Orphans
Addicts and alcoholics
Men whose fathers did not hug them
They creep in through the window
But we knew they would
For we are the ones who left it
Cracked
The broken are drawn
To the Givers
of Compassion
Stability
Healing
Life
But they are also drawn
To the damaged
But these men are not broken
Simply a tad bit bent
Aren't we all
But some borrow
And steal
Never to return
Dreams
Sanity
Soul
They are neither blind
Nor entirely ignorant
Women like us
People like us
We are not difficult to read
You can often see it on our face
Mercy
Desire
Hope
Do not let them in
Stop
Believing you can save them
You can not
Feral
Reckless
Unwilling to change
Why would they try
One whisper of our name
Echoes through our mind
And we come running
Save yourself.
