self-love,
adorned upon me like a cloak,
dripping from my pores,
a language only my heart understands.
self-love,
saves what has been repeatedly shattered,
by those that couldn't love themselves.
"Be gentle with me," I say to myself,
as I learn to be kind
to the person in the mirror

I love this!! We have to learn to love ourselves first and foremost in life!
I like the idea of self love dripping from our pores. Then the repetition of self love leading to the next line of βrepeatedβ shattering of the self by others. Such a well thought out structure, if it was unintentional, even better. I love that you include that we can be a bully to ourselves too. My favourite line was βbe gentle with meβ ππ½ππ½π€β₯οΈ
Oh, this is lovely. Well done.
