I trace your laughter drifting on the breeze,

Soft echoes dancing through the twilight air;

Each whisper stirs the silence in the trees,

A song that finds me aching, unaware.

The days move slow, like time itself stands still,

Yet stars above still speak your silent name -

Each one a vow the night begins to fill,

A promise wrapped in ever-burning flame.
