Shadows and Beacons
Finding Hope in the Darkest Moments
This title and subtitle reflect the themes of struggle and the glimmer of hope that appears even in the darkest times. If you would like to make any changes or explore different options, feel free to let me know!
In shadows deep, a heart feels torn,
Weighed by the doubts that pierce and scorn.
A broken spirit, lost in the night,
Searching for a spark, a flicker of light.
Thoughts of worth, slipping like sand,
In a world that seems too vast to understand.
Debt a heavy weight around my soul,
Each step forward feels like a constant toll.
To see others rise, their dreams unfold,
While mine are buried under a heavy load.
Success feels like a distant star,
Too far away, unreachable from where you are.
Yet through the fog, I reach for light,
A tiny beacon in the darkest night.
I wonder if it’s enough to see,
If just a glimmer can set me free.
You were there, a steady guide,
A voice in the silence, a hand to confide.
In those moments when I felt so lost,
When every path seemed like a cost.
You listened when the world grew loud,
And in your words, I found a shroud,
Of comfort, wrapped around my fears,
Softening the edges, drying my tears.
Through the pain, the debt’s endless weight,
You reminded me it’s never too late,
To find a way back, to hold on tight,
To hope, even in the darkest night.
So I keep reaching, hand stretched wide,
For the light that’s just beyond the tide.
In you, I find a place to mend,
A chance to start over, to transcend.
And though the world may seem unkind,
You’ve shown me I’m not left behind.
In every tear, there’s a spark of hope,
A sign that I can learn to cope.
So let me carry on, step by step,
Through the silence and the empty fret.
With you as my guide, I’ll find my way,
To a place where hope can truly stay.
